DEMP preheater
DEMP has its own cheap/simple preheater unit and which is installed on many of the DEMP gensets.
The preheater is based on an old design with an electric heater element submerged into the cooling water and this is installed into a simple steel container made from black steel tubing & fittings.
The heater element is preset at 50 deg. C.
The DEMP preheater is available in the following power range:
560 W – 110/120 VAC 50/60 Hz
2000 W – 210/230 VAC 50/60 Hz
2000 W – 400 VAC 50/60 Hz
2200 W – 3x220/240 VAC 50/60 Hz
1500 W – 440/460 VAC 50/60 Hz
2000 W – 3x440/450 VAC 50/60 Hz
The DEMP is installed in such a way that no pump is required for circulation as the water will circulate naturally when heated. Important to ensure that trapped air is removed before switching on the preheater.
