DEMP's product programme consists of: 

1. Marine diesel generating sets, 28-565 kWe.
2. Stationary diesel generating sets, 38-565-kWe.
3. Marine propulsion plants (only for specific countries)
   for heavy duty, 87-529 kW
   for medium duty 96-735 kW
   for light duty, pleasure crafts, 100-882 kW

Engine
The sets are based on MAN high-speed, four-stroke diesel engines, characterized by:

• Long lifetime, due to superior design, use of most updated diesel technology, intensive development and endurance test and top quality production facilities.
• Low fuel consumption, as low as 195 g/kWh
• Low noise level
• Low maintenance requirements    

Alternator
The generating sets are mostly based on Stamford alternators, characterized by compact design, a high quality level and world-wide service facilities.   

Other makes of alternators can be supplied if requested by the customer.

The generating sets are delivered as units built on foundation frames, easy to install.

Control Systems
The control systems are designed according to the requirements of the classification societies and the customers.

They can be for manual or automatic operation of single or parallel units, for manned or unmanned engine room, with automatic start/stop, with various kinds of instrumentation and alarms, with one or two independent, electrical, pneumatic or hydraulic starting systems etc.

Classification, Test
All sets are tested and put into operation according to the requirements of the customers and rules of the classification societies.

Propulsion Plants
The propulsion plants can be delivered with control systems, reverse reduction gearboxes, fixed or adjustable propellers, depending on the purpose of the plant.   

Service and Spare Parts
Service and spare parts for DEMP plants are available world-wide, partly due to the close co-operation with MAN's international organisation.
